It's super easy! Just go to the CREATE ACCOUNT page to sign up. Once we receive your info, we'll email you with a link to activate your PixlBank account, which only takes a couple of minutes. Please note that to use your photos to raise funds for great causes with PixlBank, you must be at least 13 years of age. If you want to activate your PixlBank account and receive funds via Stripe, you or your legal guardian must be at least 18 years of age and a US resident. You will also need a US bank account or debit card issued in your name or your legal guardian’s name.

Absolutely! Whether you need help paying your bills, funding a personal project, or you want to do something kind for others, PixlBank makes it easy for people to give you a Boost. Just know that we do not support raising funds for any illegal or inappropriate actions or items. Also, if you're not sure what to raise money for, you can find all sorts of great ideas HERE.

When you set up your PixlBank account, you'll first link your debit card or checking account using Stripe. We use Stripe to make sure you receive your funds quickly and securely and to keep your personal and bank details safe. You can learn more about Stripe HERE.

That's a great question! When someone Boosts one of your photos with a cash contribution, you will receive an email to let you know who gave you a Boost and how much. Your Booster can even send you a personal message that only you can read. You can also access your Stripe dashboard directly from your PixlBank profile to see how many people have given you money and how much you have raised in total.

Once you've reached your goal (assuming you set a goal) and have raised the funds to do the amazing thing you had planned to do, we recommend sharing the results with the people who gave you a Boost. The more you can share, the more likely people will want to give you a Boost in the future.

It’s FREE to create a PixlBank account and there are no fees until you receive funds. PixlBank automatically deducts a 10% platform fee from each contribution before it is deposited directly into your account. Platform fees help us cover the costs to keep PixlBank running smoothly 24/7.

There is also an industry standard rate for credit card processing, which is charged separately by Stripe, who we use to provide safe and secure payments. Credit card processing: 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction.

At PixlBank, we do not provide any legal or tax advice. All we can say is that contributions made to individual users are typically considered to be personal gifts, which for the most part, aren't taxed as income. Additionally, these contributions are not tax deductible for the people who give you a Boost. We get that taxes can be confusing, and if you have any questions regarding your tax obligations, we strongly suggest that you consult with your personal tax advisor.

To make things extra fun and to help motivate your friends and followers to give your photos a Boost, we will give you both equal entries to win prizes. How awesome is that!? Oh, and we'll be randomly selecting new winners every month.

The PixlBank platform comes with a built-in sweepstakes model that converts actions (and dollars) into entries to win prizes. To start, we'll give you entries just for sharing a photo on social media. Also, when someone Boosts one of your photos with a cash contribution, we'll give you both equal entries for every $1 they give. Basically, the more photos you share, and the more money you raise, the more entries you'll get to win monthly prizes.

Our platform handles everything, including randomly selecting the winner(s). That way you don't have to worry about anything except posting photos, raising money, and making good $#!T happen.

On the last day of each month we select multiple winners, which we will announce at the beginning of the following month. You can visit the Win Stuff page for details. Once a winner has been selected, we will contact them to get their information, including their mailing address. We will then send them their prize.
