Overtourism is a serious problem.
The United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has written numerous white papers on the need to address overtourism and experts around the world have attended highly-publicized international round-table discussions about the problem. Entire conferences have been dedicated to it…
but no practical, hands-on solutions have emerged.
Sending Postcards that give back.
Instead of focusing on the number of people who visit a destination, we instead decided to focus on what we know about them. And, if there is one thing we know about the people who travel, it’s that they take lots of photos!
The Destination Preservation Project™ will be a series of social good campaigns designed to leverage and monetize the millions of photos already being taken each year by visitors in select locations.
People will have fun turning their photos into beautiful destination-themed postcards, which they can easily share in a text, email, or on social media. They can also have their postcards printed and mailed anywhere in the world, all with just a few taps on their phone – no need to download an app.
Wherever people share their postcards, others can Boost them with donations, which are channeled directly to local organizations doing amazing work to preserve the Native Culture, support the local communities, and protect and restore the natural beauty and delicate ecosystems of that location.

We are currently developing campaigns for other amazing destinations.
